As a reminder, the upcoming software update to the Med e-care solutions is due to be released on Thursday, 25th September 2025 between 0000h - 0400h EST. This release introduces new features and improvements designed to enhance your Body Map documentation experience.
Since you also use the offline version of the eMAR solution, please ensure that your team is prepared to update your Offline eMAR immediately after the online update goes live, by sharing the steps below. Updating promptly ensures that your records are correctly synchronised between the online and the offline.
If you have Offline devices that are not used on a daily basis, they must also be updated.
Prepare to Update:
- Complete all windows updates ahead of time.
- Ensure that all night staff are aware of the upcoming updates and are ready to take the actions required on the day.
- During the update, ensure that the offline devices are charged and docked or connected to the hardwired internet connection.
Installing the Update:

After you log in, click the “Synchronization” button on the top right-hand side of your screen to synchronize.
- When the update is available, you will see an “Update Available” button . Click on the “Update Available” button to download and install the update.

Once the update is completed, you will be logged out of the eMAR and asked to log in again.

Click Synchronization once again after logging in to ensure that you are on the latest version of the Offline.
- If the update failed to download correctly, you would see the “Update Available” button again. This should no longer be displayed following a successful installation.
