MED e-care is excited to announce that the following update will be applied to the application.
End Date on Receive Orders / Manage Orders
You can now view and edit end dates in Receive Orders at the time of booking-in. This gives better visibility and control.
Most orders should not have an end date unless they are a short-course medication, such as an antibiotic for example.
The system used to use the date “01/01/9999” to signify no end date had been set; this has been replaced by a ‘No End Date’ tick box in both Receive Orders and Manage Order.
End Date Display Locations
If an end date has been scheduled, it is now displayed in the following locations:
- MAR > Orders > Receive Orders (New)
- MAR > Orders > Receive Orders (New) > View/Edit Schedule window
- MAR > Orders > Medication Profile (New)
- MAR > Orders > Medication Profile (New) > Manage Order window
End Date Control
The system used to use the end date “01/01/9999” to signify no end date had been set, this has been replaced by a ‘No End Date’ tick box in both Receive Orders and Manage Order.
When the ‘No End Date’ tick box is checked, the ‘Ending’ date box will be hidden. By default, the ‘No End date’ checkbox is ticked.
When the No End Date checkbox is unticked, the ‘Ending’ date box will be shown.
Transfer History Report
A new report has been created that allows users to view the history of internal transfers in their facility.
Location: Reports > ADT > Group > Transfer History
- Resident Name
- Chart Number
- Original Admission Date
- Previous Location (applicable if a transfer has occurred within the selected period)
- Transfer date
- Current Location
By default, residents in the report will show grouped by Unit.
Select ‘Active Residents Only’ parameter to override the date selection control and view records for all current residents.
