V5 POC Customization Access
The POC Customization pages will now be available under the POC V5 Module itself. The original versions of these pages can still be accessed through Settings.
Subtabs for “Resident Flowsheet Customization”, “Resident Dietary Customization”, “POC to Incident Options”, and “Assignments Setting” can be accessed by navigating to POC V5 > Assignment > Customization.
Security Roles for Resident Flowsheet and Dietary Customization tabs
Users with sufficient permission can access and perform the required actions on the Resident Flowsheet Customization tab and Resident Dietary Customization tab:
- When Security Role > POC > Flowsheet > FlowSheet Resident Customization > Write is enabled, user is able to perform actions on the Resident Flowsheet Customization tab.
- When Security Role > POC > Dietary > Dietary Resident Customization > Write is enabled, user is able to perform actions on the Resident Dietary Customization tab.
- When Write permission is disabled for the above, the user will not be able to make changes on the Dietary or Flowsheet customization pages.
Security Roles for POC to Incident Options
A new option “POC to Incident Options” has been added under the Object Type ‘Flowsheet’.
The permissions include:
- View Permission
- When enabled, user can view the POC to Incident Options tab and its contents.
- When disabled, user cannot see the POC to Incident Options tab.
- Write Permission
- When enabled, user can save the changes on the POC to Incident Options screen.
- When disabled, user cannot save any changes on the POC to Incident Options screen.
Using the V5 Assignment Setup Screen
The assignment setup screen has been upgraded to V5, and is now available under both POC V5 > Customization and Settings > POC Customization > Assignments
This page has been divided into 3 panels:
- Shift Panel- This panel is used to add a new shift.
How does it work?
- Enter the ‘Shift Name’ in the text box. This field is mandatory.
- Enter the ‘Shift Description’. You can leave it blank.
- Click on ‘Add’ button. This saves the new shift entered above.
- You can always ‘Edit’ or ‘Delete’ the shift by clicking on the Edit/Delete buttons.
- Clicking on Edit button will open up an ‘Edit Shift” window where you can make the required changes to the Shift Name and Description. Click ‘Save’ to save the changes.
- Clicking on Delete button will display a warning message.
- Assignments for Panel- This panel is used to add a new Assignment to any of the selected Shift.
How does it work?
- Select any ‘Shift’ from the Shift Panel.
- Enter the ‘Assignment Name’ in the available text field.
- Click on ‘Add’ button to save the assignment.
- You can always ‘Edit’ or ‘Delete’ an assignment by clicking on the Edit/Delete buttons.
- Clicking on Edit button will open up an ‘Edit Assignment” window where you can make the required changes to the Assignment Name. Click ‘Save’ to save the changes.
- Clicking on Delete button will display a warning message.
- Select Beds for Panel- This panel is used to assign beds to an assignment of any selected shift.
How does it work?
- Select any Shift and Assignment.
- You can filter the beds on the basis of Unit, Selected Beds, and Occupied/Unoccupied Beds.
- Select the beds under the “Select” column by checking the checkbox. This will automatically save the selected beds to the assignment.
- If you want to remove any bed, uncheck the checkbox under the Select column.
Security Roles for Assignment Setup Screen
A new object type “Assignment” has been added under the POC Category in the security role setup. The new options have been added under the Object Type ‘Edit Assignments’ with the following permissions:
- Write Permission
- When enabled, user can save the changes or create new assignments.
- When disabled, user cannot save any changes.
- View Permission
- When enabled, user can see the Assignment Setup tab.
- When disabled, user cannot see the tab.
