Further to last night's release, the following updates have been applied to the application

New Domain- COVID-19

COVID-19 domain has been added to the following Global Care Plans:

• MED e-care Care Plan
• MED e-care RAPs Care Plan
• CARE PLAN
• Retirement Care Plan

The following Classes and Diagnosis are added to COVID-19 Domain:

Role for Editing MAR Record

 The new Object Type “MAR/TAR V5” has been added under Settings >> Security >> Application Roles >> Edit Application Roles >> Category: MAR.

The two new object names added to MAR/TAR V5 are:

1. Edit Administration Records
   1. Purpose:
      1. When checked, you will be able to edit a signed administration record, created by yourself or another user.
      2. When unchecked, you will not be able to edit a signed admin record.
      3. By default, the setting is enabled.
   2. Edit Own Administration Record Within Pass
      1. Purpose:
         1. When checked, you will be able to edit an administration record that you have created, provided the edit occurs within the same pass where the signature was originally applied.
         2. When unchecked, you will not be able to edit the signed admin record.
         3. By default, the setting is enabled.

Log Action when user acknowledges the “Administer a Second Time” warning

When option “Time window to display a warning prior to administering a medication a second time (minutes)” is enabled, you will see a warning message with a Reason field. Once you enter the reason, the ‘Yes’ button will be enabled.

• The system will now log each time you clicks on ‘Yes’ on the warning message for the record keeping purposes. The log will include the data on the user, chart number, RX number and date/time of action.
• The log can be viewed under e-MAR >> Administration >> Audit: Second Administration Warning

When a medication is administered after acknowledging the warning, and within the set time frame for “Time window to display a warning prior to administering a medication a second time (minutes)”.

• The system will now log the action and the reason.
• The log can be viewed under e-MAR >> Administration >> Audit: Second Administration.

New Setting- Second Signature is required to edit an Administration Record

 A new setting “Second Signature is required to edit an Administration Record” is added under Settings >> e-MAR >> Options >> Double Signature Section.

Purpose:

• When enabled, if you have a permission to edit a MAR record then the system will prompt a witness signature window where you can provide the reason and witness signature. The system will log this action.
• When disabled, if you have a permission to edit a MAR record, the second signature window will not pop up.
• By default, the setting is disabled.
