Following a recent update to e-MAR version 5, the Administration History screen has been updated for both scheduled and PRN medications to make it easier to review the history.

Useful information at a Glance

We have made it easy to quickly differentiate between Administered and Not Administered records by colour coding the status of the administration to match the buttons within the MAR screen

Red = Not Administered
Green = Administered

Administration Notes

The Administration History now shows additional notes that have been recorded during the administration of the medication such as not administered reasons, notes and PRN administration reasons.

Hovering over a long note will show the whole note.

More history by default

By default, the history shows the last 30 days of administration to provide a robust overview of the available records.

More historical records can be viewed using the date search fields. You can use this to retrieve the administration history between specific dates.

To use this, click on the calendar icon and select your dates.

How to Access the Administration History

You can access the administration history for PRN and scheduled medication orders by clicking the Admin History Button within Medication Rounds for each medication.

The "Last Given" date and time is also displayed:
