Many times a facility will want to add/remove a designation (or job assignment) to their staff members. These designations are used on employee electronic signatures, e-Notes, reports and other places throughout the software. This is also where you would add a Physician to your Physician drop-down (in ADT and Incident Notes) list but you can also use it to set job assignments for all other staff in your facility. (eg. RN, RPN, PSW, DOC, etc).
Settings > Facility > Employee User Setup - search for employee name, and click on employee name.
On the ‘Employee Users Setup page’, scroll down to bottom of page to 'Employee Job Assignment' section, and click on 'Add Assignment' to add or click on the current assignment to edit/delete assignment.
From these screens you will be able to set the start/end date of the designation or delete it completely from the user's profile.
