V5 POC Dietary Fluid Updates
Our V5 POC Dietary has been updated and now you can record the fluids using the ‘Cups’ option.
Setting to Enable/Disable the Cups Option
A new setting “Use Cups control for fluid documentation” has been added under Settings >> POC >> POC Options >> Dietary Options to show only the amount option or both amount and Cups.
- When Enabled- Both Amount and Cups option will be displayed in the dropdown with Cups as a default option while documentation.
- When Disabled- Only Amount Option will be displayed in the dropdown and will default to Amount while documentation.
- By default, the setting is disabled.
How it works?
- Once the setting is enabled, you can see ‘Cups’ as an additional option under the Amount dropdown.
- You can select the ‘Cups” option from the dropdown and the screen will look like: where you have to click on the Cup icon to record the number of cups consumed. Total amount of cups consumed and the total amount of fluid (shown in brackets) consumed will display as soon as you click on a cup icon.
- Enter the time, notes and click on Save to record the entry.
- You can also reset the amount before hitting ‘Save’ button by just clicking on the empty cup which will reset the amount to 0.
POC Audit Widget
POC Audit Widget has been added under POC V5 >> Audit. This widget already exists in the Dashboard.
Purpose: This widget will allow you to perform audits on all incomplete POC documentation for Flowsheet, ADL and Dietary information on a given day.
Features:
- The Assignment column will display all the assignments that contains incomplete records.
- Incomplete ADL column will list all the ADL groups that do not have any documentation for the selected day, separated by semicolon.
- The Incomplete ADL column will display in the grid only if the setting “Enable V5 ADL” is checked under Settings >> POC >> ADL Options.
- Incomplete Flowsheet column will list all Flowsheet groups (based on resident customization) that do not have any documentation for the selected day, separated by semicolon
- Incomplete Dietary column will list list all dietary Meals (based on resident customization) that are incomplete for the selected day, separated by semicolon.A Dietary meal will be considered as complete only if both a fluid and solid amount has been recorded.
- Clicking on a record will bring you to POC V5 > Resident page (whichever is the first enabled tab) with selected assignment and resident in focus.
- You can also customize the grid using the filter options like Search Bar, Assignments, and Date to view the results as per your requirements.
- You can use the Export feature to download the details.
Multi-Select menu for Units in Dashboard
The Dashboard’s Unit selection menu has been replaced with the multi-select menu which will allow you to select and view data for multiple units at a time.
New Dashboard Widget- Care Plan Review Items
A new “Care Plan Review Items” widget has been added under Dashboard that will provide all the care plan items that are overdue, including Care Plan review, Outcome review, and Care Plans Not Started. You can use this widget to see any reviews that are overdue, or which ones are coming up in the next week and can complete them ahead of time.
Features:
- CP Item column will list all the review items like Outcome reviews, Care Plan Reviews and Care Plan Not Started. You can hover over an item to see more details like the outcome review note and the care plan effective date.
- The Diagnosis column will display the care plan diagnosis associated to outcome review.
- The Review On column will show the date the review is due.
- The Overdue By (days) column will display the number of days until due or number of days the review is overdue and will be highlighted in red.
- Clicking on a record will bring you to the resident’s care plan page.
- You can also customize the grid using the filter options like Search Bar, Due In and All Review Items to view the results as per your requirements.
- You can use the Export feature to download the details.
How to access this feature:
- Navigate to Dashboard on the Green bar.
- Make sure you have enabled the “Care Plan Review Items” widget.
- Navigate to the widget, set your desired filters and click on the record to review the details.
