This week's update includes a new Allergy Notification feature for the MAR:
Allergy Notification Pop-up on Add To MAR Screen*
When an order is added through the Add To MAR tab/function the system will generate a warning pop-up window where any resident allergies will be displayed.
This extra verification step is to ensure that the user does not accidentally order a medication that the resident has an allergy to.
User must review and confirm the information before proceeding with the order.
Allergy Notification Pop-up Settings
To access the settings for this feature, navigate to
Settings > e-MAR > Options
Check the option "Show Allergy Alert on Add To MAR" to enable the notification
